Deaconess Hope Marshall
Superintendent, Sunday School (School of the Word – S.O.W.)
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” Hosea 4:6
Hope believes that no one in NJHOG should perish because of a lack of knowledge.
She has a very strong passion for teaching and believes that the body of Christ is empowered through the Word of God. And that that empowerment should give us joy & peace, the desire to spread the gospel of Christ and the ability to encourage ourselves and one another with the Word of God by the Spirit of God.
She also serves as a Deaconess, a Sunday school teacher, a part of the dance ministry and directly assists Lady Fryar with NJHOG’s women’s ministry.
She has been attending NJHOG since its third week of inception – June 2003 and officially joined along with her husband Elder Byron Marshall in October of 2003.
Outside of church, Hope has been a Software Development Specialist for 23 years. She enjoys writing poetry and serves as her husband’s creative design consultant for his photography/videography business (Bhopeful Designs). They have three adult children and two grandchildren.
Time is very precious, spend some with God.
