About
Sister Shari L. Brown
Director, Divine Purpose Drama Ministry and Legacy Youth Choir
One of Shari’s favorite scriptures is Jeremiah 29:11” For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” At an early age, she accepted Jesus as her Savior and has been active in the church ever since. She is a graduate of Douglass College, Rutgers University with a degree in Psychology.
Prior to her current position as Co-owner and Director of the preschool, Fox Learning Center, she worked as a counselor for alcohol & substance abuse clients as well as emotionally disturbed children for several years.
Shari joined New Jerusalem House of God in April 2006 after experiencing the Holy Spirit moving mightily, hearing the Word of God preached fervently and witnessing the love of Christ from the congregation.
She enjoys writing and working with others in ministering dramatic skits that present the Gospel in a compelling manner. She also loves teaching the youth of New Jerusalem’s Legacy Choir to worship the Lord in song.
